Single Point Gap Frame Presses

60 Ton Single Point Gap Frame Press - Titan Press - TM1-60

What is a Single Point Press?

Single point gap frame presses are fitted with a single connecting rod that connects the ram to the crankshaft exerting force to the center of the die, exerting pressure evenly across the workpiece. This design is suitable for many stamping operations especially with smaller tooling.  If you haven’t already, check out our metal stamping press videos.

How to Choose the Right Size Gap Frame Press?

When choosing the correct size gap frame mechanical press, consider the type and size of the parts you’ll be producing, the required tonnage to perform the operation, and the bed size to ensure it accommodates your tooling. It’s essential to match the press capacity (tonnage) with the material thickness and operation (stamping, forming, etc.) to avoid overloading the press. Also, evaluate the stroke length, shut height, and speed to ensure compatibility with your production needs. Selecting the right size ensures efficiency, precision, and extended equipment life.
