What is a Single Point Press?

Single Point Straight Sided Presses have a single connecting rod that connects the ram to the crankshaft. This exerts force to the center of the die, exerting pressure evenly across the workpiece. This design is suitable for many stamping operations especially with smaller tooling. A single point straight sided press, also known as a single point press or straight side press, is a type of mechanical press commonly used in manufacturing processes, particularly in metalworking.
